»A swift sound echoed throughout the valley. The tall, young person strode toward the door, being neither Girl nor Women, yet something in between. Her Brown hair glistened in the early morning Sunshine, being only Four O'clock on a Saturday. Most would detest getting up that early on a Saturday, but to her it was the only time to get to Ride alone, to ride all by herself without people either begging her for advice or telling her she was riding all wrong.
»It was all garbish. Quickly she went over the horse with a quick soft brush, the mare having no more than a slight dusting covering her. She grabbed the saddle pad when she was done, placing it farther up than it needed to be before placing the saddle atop of it and sliding both items back, so that the horses hair would be smoothed out.
»She now did up the girth, but not before slipping the English Pad's strips up the Second Billet. Smiling, she pulled up the girth to what size her Horse, Blue, was. The stallion wouldn't dare bite her, though she did turn her head around, giving her a look of obvious protest, when Rachel did up the girth. The horse hadn't eaten her grain yet, though she had gotten a flake of hay. Rachel made the mare wait, though.
»She wanted a quick ride on the beach. She grabbed the Bridle and slipping the Halter down the horses head and down the neck before slipping the Bridle into place, Missy refusing the Bit a few times before Rachel was able to slide it into place. She had her hair done up in a Ponytail set high on her head, just popping out from under her Hardhat. She carried a short jumping bat in one hand, the reigns of her horse in the other.
"Hey, sweets. Ready to hit the trails?"
»She cooed to the horse, kissing the Stallion lightly on the nose. Slipping the reigns over Blue's head, she led the horse loosely down to the Mounting Block right outside of the Barn's doorway. Mounting , she adjusted her stirrups while in the Saddle. Shifting her weight forward the Horse lightly started to Walk. After about a Half-Hour of doing a Walk, Trot, Canter on the Four Loop Serpentine, and just a small amount of Dressage, it was Five O'clock in the morning, and she still had plenty of time for the Trails.
»She asked for a Trot, heading out toward one of the easy trails. She just wanted to clear her head and get some things straight. After a while she started to push the Horse into a Canter, heading down a regularly used Trail Route. The Hoof Prints of Equines large and small lined the path, never going away after all that galloping done here. She easily slowed the Stallion down, though she kept throwing her head and not wanting to turn on to the next trail.
»Soon enough she came to the crisp, white sands of the beach. It was a nice little place to go riding, especially when you had a smooth gaited horse that knew his way around most situations. She knew she'd dismount soon enough and tie up her horse while she grabbed an ice cream. She always kept a halter and lead on her horse when she took him to the beach, that way she could easily get off and lead, or tie him up while she sat down. She always kept the Stallion in close range and site, though, and was extremely careful about people around him.
»About an hour later she climbed out of the saddle and tied him to a fence post with a quick release knot right in front of the ice cream parlor. The owners knew her mother, so they allowed her to keep her horse there, and sometimes gave her some water to give him, though it seemed they had hired new help, so the boy merely hastily took her order down and returned with it a few moments later. Taking it, she went and sat on a bench next to the horse, licking it. She loved Cookies and Cream.
»Blue shook his head slightly, which signaled to Rachel somebody was approaching. She turned lightly to look at the on comer.

Courtney knew it was a good day to take her equine to the beach. The day was hot, and humid. Her skin was already sticky, and she couldnt stand staying at home all day not doing anything. Pulling up, with a equine trailer behind her, in her dads 4x4 truck. She pulled up, beside another horse box. She smiled, and shruged. Looking through the back mirror, she could see her paint rushing and all excited at the scent of the beach. A small laughter came from her lips. Smiling away. Grabing her bridle and a small bag for her, incase she gets thirsty. Taking off her sandles, or flip flops if you want to call them. Taking out the keys and turning off the engine, and sliping out the door, and onto the hot sand below her. They burned her feet, and right infront of her, layed the beach.
She smiled, gazing at it long enough, until a whinny emmited from her horses kissers. He was excited, he must of also known there was another rider and equine. Courtney didn't care, as long as they where nice. And could get along. Riviaro waked her up from her gaze, laughing a bit. Walking to the back of the trailer. Un hooking and un doing the latch, she easly sliped in, and undid the halter in the trailer. She called Riviaro out, as she waited for him to finish looking around. He was a smart horse. He listens easly, and hes her first horse ever. A tri colored arabian. Courtney loves him so. Her lips made a kissing sound, to get her horses attention. He was to busy looking around, and being snoopy about another equine being here already.
Come on boy. We got some fun to take up this geourgous time.
Courtney sliped on his bridle, and led him over to a log. Courtney was fairly small, so she had no choice but to stand on something if her horse didn't have a saddle on. She laughed easly. Riviaro kept moving. She rehalted him, as he stayed put. Griping the reins in proper length, she gave him a hard pat, and turned to the beach. Jumping over many logs and such. There was much sea weed too. Asking for a canter, heading to the shore, waves began to cast against her horses limbs, and slpash up at there faces. She laughed, as they began to canter away, along the shore.
Looking a bit to her left, seeing other horse prints, heading towards the trails. She smiled, troting over. Riviaro loved trails, and his favorite was dashing through them like a mad man. Tri colored hues optics looked around, seeking. Asking for a gallop, the two sped through the trail, smelling the pine and trees around them. Looking past her, they passed a girl and her horse. Riviaro dead stoped, looking back. Courtney turned him around, as they troted up to them. She smiled lightly, as her golden hair wisked lightly in the breeze. She smiled lightly.
Hello. Im Courtney. This is Riviaro. I take your here today too with your horse? Its a good day for riding?. Can I know your name?
She smiled easly again. Looking to her horse, beautiful, just like Riviaro. She smiled. Riviaro stretched out his nape. Touching the horses kissers. He loved to get to know new horses. He really did. As much as Courtney, loved to meet new people.

The Sun felt hot on his back as he maybe his way slowly down to the sand. He probably should have changed into a different color other then black. He had on long black jean's and a large black T-shirt with a red skull in the corner. He smirked and continued to walk. Right behind him was a large black stallion, his black bridle blended into his shinning coat. Falcon was about the only thing in live he enjoyed and lived for.
As soon as his feet felt the warm sand between his toes he got ready to mount. Looking at him you would never guess he would ride horses. With long blond hair that fell down his back in a neat pony tail and dark eye-liner around his eyes, you would think he would just sit in his room. Well he did most of the time but even people like him got board.
He was tall, about 6 foot so mounting bare back was easy. He grasped the tall stallions mane and rains firmly and heaved him self up. He stared at his mils for a moment, they were freshly painted black, before bringing his bare feet into Nights side. The horse snorted and trotted on, hooves thumping on the compacted sand. The breeze blew the hair out of his eyes and brought a slight smile to his lips as they moved into a canter. This was when he saw other people with horses. He pulled the rains to the right and made his way toward them. They we re both girls he could see that and none of them were like him. But he would stop anyway, he wanted to see how there horses measured up to Falcon.

»Pushing herself up, she grasped Blue by the reigns, not knowing how he would react to a strange horse at all. She had only had the stallion for a year or so, and he hadn't been around many strange horses in his life - only the ones at her stable, which were many, though he had been introduced to them slowly. Her mother was a famed riding instructor and was extremely good with horses and people alike, being friendly and kind. It was large, and most everybody in the town knew about their riding center, weather they rode or not.
»A short growling noise was muttered beneath her breath, warning him to be good with the Equine. He merely stomped his foot and shook his head slightly as the girl approached. It wasn't very good ground manners to bring you horse straight up to another person's without asking weather or not they were friendly first; then again, she hadn't put a red ribbon in Blue's tail. She hadn't officially found out weather he kicked or bit strange horses, so she hadn't bothered to put one in, though she had put one in a saddlebag attached to the saddle.
»Allowing a smooth smile to slide across her lips, she slowly nodded to the girl, as if to tell her without words that it was okay to continue on her path toward them. She stood, giving Blue a shake of the reigns when he nipped her back.
"Blue, Bad. You Know Better."
»She let the soft words slip from her mouth, blinking slightly as the girl started to talk.
"Of Coarse, Courtney. I'm Rachel. Rachel LaFran. I'm sure you've heard of me...I know a lot of kids around here and my mother, Lious LaFran, owns that huge stable up the road from here. This is Blue No More, but we just call him Blue. Or Bozo if he's being an idiot."
»She chuckled softly, patting the horses neck as he nickered and bumped his nose into her back. He certainly was a good horse, just needing some work on his ground manners, though he was wonderful undersaddle. The only problem when riding him was that he started on the wrong lead when cantering every time they went into the pace, though he corrected himself soon enough.
»She soon spotted a boy on his horse cantering forward, and felt Blue yank on the reigns. Turning, she sucked in breath when she found him half-rearing, sharp, screaming whinnies escaping his now open mouth.
"Ho-woah, Blue! Easy, boy!"
»She called out softly to the horse, and soon enough he was calm, though his ears looked like they had been sewn to his head and his eyes were more white than blue.

Seeing the stressed horse he yanked back on Falcon's rains. The horse snorted and slid to a stop, lifting a few centimeters on the ground before landing with a soft thud. He was greeted with a stare from the annoyed horse, it was as if he was saying 'hey what was that for'. He patted Falcon's neck and dismounted, his bare feet burned as the hot sand hit them but he didn't mind anyway it was his fault he had left his shoes in the car.
He knotted the rains in case falcon bolted so he wouldn't trip and walked foreword slowly. Falcon stayed perfectly still in the spot he had been left, they had practiced this many times before. He held out his left hand for the frighten horse to sniff, he nodded to his owner. "I am sorry for causing your horse distress, I was not expecting this reaction" He looked over to the other girl and her horse. He also nodded to her, he never said he wasn't polite. "I am Edward Elric, and this," he nodded toward Falcon who was examining a piece of drift wood,"this is Falcon".
