Breakthrough Equerstrian Center
In the begining, the year 1897, there was a french man, Pierre Martin, who had always had a passion for the equine. He was embarassed about his love for the horse, as his father wanted him to follow through on the family business. Now, Pierre was very uninterested in the family business, as his father was a butcher. One night, very late, when he was seventeen, Pierre left home. You could call it running away, or maybe go so far as to call it escaping, but Pierre referred to his journey as freedom.
He made his way to Toulouse, in the south of his country, and there he managed to purchase himself a small, run down cottage with three or four stables and a lot of land. He went to market in the weeks that followed, and lived out his dream of owning horses.
For six years he lived in harmony with his horses, until he finally realised how lonely he really was. He needed a wife. And so he married Gabriella, the local farmer's daughter. They soon conceived a son and daughter, twins, but shortly later, Pierre fell ill. Only weeks later then the birth of his children, he passed away soundlessly. Gabriella looked after the horses, but after a while she had to sell them all, as it was too much, while she was raising the children on her own. She still lived on the ranch, but with no horses.
In 1975, a young girl, Charlotte, was tracing her family tree. She stumbled across a french man, Pierre Martin. She asked her grandfather about him, and was told that he had owned a ranch, in the south of france, and that the ranch still belonged to the family, but that it was abandoned. Charlotte, that summer, went to france, and was inspired by the ranch, and tried to reopen it as a riding school, she was successful. Recently, Charlotte has passed away, and her daughter has taken over. Now the Equestrian Centre is once more a happy place, full of excitment...
